Definition
OBSOLETE. Any process that modulates the frequency, rate or extent of activity of any TGF-beta receptor signaling pathway that is involved in the determination of the lateral plate mesoderm with respect to its left and right halves.

Comment
This term was made obsolete because it describes regulation of the nodal signaling pathway. Nodal proteins are members of the TGF-beta superfamily, but are distinct from TGF-beta proteins themselves. TGF-beta proteins are not currently known to regulate left/right asymmetry in the lateral mesoderm.
