Definition
OBSOLETE. Any process that modulates the frequency, rate or extent of activity of any TGF-beta receptor signaling pathway that is involved in the determination of the lateral plate mesoderm with respect to its left and right halves. Source: PMID:15084459, GOC:dgh
Comment
This term was made obsolete because it describes regulation of the nodal signaling pathway. Nodal proteins are members of the TGF-beta superfamily, but are distinct from TGF-beta proteins themselves. TGF-beta proteins are not currently known to regulate left/right asymmetry in the lateral mesoderm.
