Definition
OBSOLETE. Any process in which the host organism modulates the frequency, rate or extent of cAMP-mediated signal transduction in the symbiont. The cAMP-mediated signal transduction is defined as a series of molecular signals in which a cell uses cyclic AMP to convert an extracellular signal into a response. The host is defined as the larger of the organisms involved in a symbiotic interaction. Source: GOC:pamgo_curators
Comment
The reason for obsoletion is that there is no evidence that the host can modulate or regulate a symbiont's signal transduction pathway.
