Comment
Note that GO does not separately defines enhancers, since this concept is very close to that of cis-regulatory elements. However the literature refers to 'promoter-enhancer loops' to describe loops that bring together cis-regulatory elements. Note also that while SO defines 'promoter' as the core promoter, here it is used to mean a cis-regulatory element.
