Retractor of the scutellar axillar complex; in most Scelionidae it is rod-like, originating from the dorsal surface of the pleural apodeme and inserting on the ventral
surface of the lateral axillar area, in Archaeoteleia, Nixonia, and Sparasion, where the pleural apodeme is
absent, the muscle is fan-shaped and originates from the dorsal part of femoral depression.
