Snodgrass 1942 noted, that there is no medial propecto-procoxal articulation in honeybee. Lars also share this oppinion. However, in Platygastroidea an anterior process of the prosternum is well developed and I think acts as the median propecto-procoxal articulation. We should check other Hymenoptera focusing on the noon-apocritans whether any processes similar to that in Platygatsroidea are exist. Than even the propecto-procoxal joint should be dicondylic.
