Tibial spur of the front leg; in most chalcids the protibial spur is short and
straight (inconspicuous and needle-like) when there are 3 or 4 tarsal segments, but relatively
robust, curved, and apically cleft (bifid, bifurcate) when there are 5 tarsal segments;sometimes called the calcar.
